Large Shop Tools
Completion of a training class is required to use some of the woodshop equipment available at HackRVA. If a tool in the list below is marked as requiring a class, you must complete a class or get prior approval in order to operate that tool. Many of the specialized tools at HackRVA are dangerous or easily damaged if improperly used. Some of the tools below do not require training but are still extremely dangerous. If you are unsure how to safely operate a piece of equipment, DO NOT believe in yourself. Refer to the user manual or find someone who knows how to use the equipment and ask for help.

Some of the classes have nominal fees.
