Audio/Video System

The Audio/Video System is for general use. It is also used for several events at the space. Please be courteous of others and remember that you are a representative of HackRVA.

Overhead Projector

How To Connect

Some of this information is already detailed on the Overhead Projector page.

The two main remotes (projector and DVD Player remote) should be stored next to the TV mounted to the wall. Please return when not in use.

DVD

1. Insert DVD
2. Projector should be on HDMI 2 input

VGA

1. Connect VGA and 1/8th inch audio jack to your laptop
2. DVD Player should be set to Line 2 for audio
3. On the projector, select the Computer input

HDMI

1. Remove HDMI cable from the back of the DVD player and connect to laptop
2. DVD Player should be set to Line 2 for audio
3. Projector input should be on HDMI 2

Please reconnect the DVD Player when you are finished using the HDMI cable.

Chromecast
