We chose the this saw because of its added safety features. Its also a wonderful tool to use. We have had some classes on its use, and there are many users who can go over it with you. Don't try to use it without training, and we recommend you read manual for the SawStop
Users are responsible for the cost of setting off the safety measures - which is around $100 depending on what blade is on it.
