hack.RVA has two design workstations with design software installed. One is in the corner of the main room, to the right of the door. The other is the computer that drives the 3d printers.

Autodesk Fusion 360

Fusion 360 is a CAD, CAM, CAE suite that is free for hobbyist and startup use. A user can design, simulate, and create manufacturing toolpaths for CNC machines. AutoDesk has excellent documentation including videos available for free online. walkthroughs are also available from NYCCNC.

Inkscape is an open source vector drawing program. It can export SVG files for the laser or the Xcarve.
