Safety

Always keep in mind that you need to avoid skin contact with the resin. Wear gloves whenever handling resin. If your skin comes in contact with resin wash thoroughly with soap and water immediately, make sure the resin does not cure on your skin.


Consolidated procedure for operating the form 1+ printer

Follow this procedure for any print on this printer. Resin is toxic and can cause skin irritation. Always wear gloves and refer back to support page for more info.

1. Ready your design files in pre-form (support guide located here)

2. Shake resin well and refill vat to maximum fill line. Do not overfill. Larger prints may require that the resin tank is refilled during the print. With the printer paused, open the cover, and slowly add more resin to reach the maximum fill line.

4. Check the resin tank for debris or damage following the instructions on the form website.

5. Send your print your print to the printer from pre-from and press the . Press the Form 1+ button to confirm print.

6. After the print is complete remove the build platform and place it face up in the tray. Be careful not to drip excess resin in or around the printer.

7. Carefully remove the print with a scraper and wipe off excess resin with a paper towel.

8. Wash the print in a plastic lidded container with IPA 95% for maximum 5 minutes. Gently shake/blow off excess IPA quickly and let dry completely. Repeat step 4 to check the resin tank for damage after the print.

9. Place it in the UV oven for 2+ hours to fully cure.
