HackRVA uses "Slack Chat" to chat with each other online.

To get access to our slack channel, request an invite by emailing Dustin at infoAThackrva.org
Here's a link to the sign in page slack.com/signin.
Our channel is "hackrva" when you go to sign in.
We also have IRC channel somewhere, but no one is ever on it but one lonely nomad - its probably called hack.rva or something.

The IRC channel is connected to the Slack channel too, maybe.
It also integrates with the hackrva task management solution, KanBoard.
(we no longer use KanBoard, though it is still up and still integrates)
